Who Is Mr. Reyes?

​

Hi!  My name is Omar Reyes.  I come from a family full of teachers and school administrators, including my mother, father, grandmother, aunt (actually four aunts), cousin (actually, 4 cousins, so far) and my mother-in-law!
​
I graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a degree in Biblical Studies and I am really excited to be a part of Brown.  I love working with kids and helping them to learn. My greatest satisfaction comes from watching a student understand and fully grasp a new concept - my favorite sound is "Oh!"



I am married to my best friend, Monica and we have a 1-year old daughter, Giselle.  They both sometimes come into my classroom to help volunteer or will accompany us on field trips. I love Jesus, my family, and the Mavericks, usually in that order.  I'm excited to be your teacher and can't wait to go on a learning journey with you!

 ¿Quien es Sr. Reyes?

Hola, mi nombre es Omar Reyes. Yo vengo de una familia llena de maestros y administradores de escuela, incluyendo mi mamá, papá, abuela, tía (de verdad, 4 tías) prima (de verdad, 4 primas, hasta ahora) y mi suegra. 



Me gradué de Dallas Baptist University con un bachillerato en Estudios Bíblicos, y estoy muy emocionado de ser parte de Brown. Me gusta trabajar con niños y ayudarles aprender. Mi mayor satisfacción viene de ver un estudiante entender y completamente agarrar un concepto nuevo- mi sonido favorito es "Oh!"



Estoy casado con mi mejor amiga, Mónica y tenemos una hija de 1 año, Giselle. Las dos vienen al salon de vez en cuando para ayudar como voluntarias y a veces asisten las excursiones. Amo a Jesús, mi familia, y los Mavericks, normalmente en ese orden. Estoy emocionado de ser su maestro y ¡no puedo esperar ir en una jornada de aprendizaje con ustedes!
